Latitude Financial
I have worked full-time for Latitude on a contract since October 2015.
During that time I have been lucky enough to work across a suite of 14 websites as well as running marketing campaigns via eDMs (we use Oracle Responsys). I have been assigned work ranging from the mundane - updating interest rates - to the totally challenging such as building a single page, PHP application. I have loved the experience and will happily tell you more about this, but I can't share Latitude's IP via this site. Interview me and I will have a number of bookmarked pages and examples of what I have done, ready for your review.

East Kew United Soccer Club
This has been the biggest and most rewarding piece of work that I have done to date. Seeing the client so happy with what I have produced has definitely been the highlight, but some of the technical elements have also been really good fun.
The main aim of the site is to inform current players and fans, as well as attract new members to the club. The team use social media well and have a good amount of banter and team spirit, but lacked a central point where they could find all of the information such as fixtures, awards and news, all in one place.
The thing I am most pleased with is the fixture listing on the homepage. It lists the next game for both of the teams so that players and fans know exactly where they need to be and when! In future (once enough profiles are gathered, we plan to have a player profile section that will use ng-repeat to list players in an old-school sticker album type format.

June 2016 update to Wordpress - Jess Mundy Stylist
Jess' styling business has been going really well for her and in May 2016, she quit her full-time career after 10 years with her employer - a big gamble. In order to take her business further, she felt a blog where she is able to demonstrate her credibility, further build her brand and gain a loyal following was what would be required.
I have rebuilt her site in WordPress to achieve this. Aiming to recreate the original site as much as possible, I have customised the twentyfourteen theme to suit her needs. As Jess is new to the world of blogging and didn't have any existing digital skills, I have spent a good amount of time guiding and coaching her in how to create and edit her blog posts. To support this, I have produced a number of short "how-to" documents with screenshots and snippets of code for oft-repeated tasks.

Exciting new online business - launches September 2016
During my first year of being a parent I have noticed a trend and feel there is a gap in the market, currently, that I can serve (and exploit I hope!)
I am building a website using WooCommerce and the Storefront theme. The site itself is quite basic, but the functionality that WooCommerce offers is pretty cool. Although in an early revision now, I am confident that the website element of this business idea is quality. In order for this business to succeed, I need to commit around 4 hours a week to it - totally do-able without comprimising my full-time career - which if you're reading this I hope you are considering offering me!
With everything going to plan, this business will launch in early September 2016.

The Fruit Shop Elsternwick
This is our local greengrocer. When she came back from NZ and was looking for her next career move, my now wife, Amber, worked here and we have a good relationship with the owner, Ali.
The site features a neat jQuery function to list the day's opening hours, as well as what fruit or veg that happens to be in season. It is a clean design which I have come up with and coded by hand using no framework or template. Ali seems to like it, but getting assets such as the logo and hosting details, is not high on his list of priorities (but he does work bloody hard so I'm not pushing it) which is why it is still in a staged state on my homepage.

Contraction-Counter.com
This is a website that I designed and developed as the final project for the course at GA. It is intended for use by a pregnant lady or couple, timing the durations of the contractions that occur prior to childbirth. The site uses a JavaScript timer that I coded, to record the duration of contractions, the rest period between contractions and then calculate the averages, providing a recommendation.
The site uses HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery and SASS. There is an implementation of FormSpree in the newsletter signup footer.
This site's hosting expired and I chose not to renew it - now hosted on my domain - click here to visit it.

Jess Mundy Stylist
Jess wanted a simple and uncluttered website to show off her business as a personal stylist in Christchurch, NZ. She supplied the design and the assets and I have developed the site.
The site is fairly minimal and uses HTML5 and CSS3. There is an implementation of FormSpree on the contact page. I have created and used a favicon and plan to increase on the functionality over time.
